The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Defenseman of the Week is 1985 born Jared Mohr of the Battlefords North Stars. Mohr had a goal and four assists in an 11-2 romp over the La Ronge Ice Wolves in game one of the Itech Conference final. Mohr also was one of six Star blueliners to help limit the Ice Wolves to just 32-shots in 84-minutes of hockey in a game two double overtime win. Mohr now has 2-goals and 9-assists in 11-playoff games, which ranks him second overall amongst SJHL Defensemen in scoring. Other players considered for the weekly award were Derek Keller of the Stars and Brett McRuvie of Yorkton. | ||||||
